Default Rattling Noise Coming from Inside of Dashboard?

A couple of weeks ago I started to notice this faint rattling noise coming from my dash but I chose to ignore it. It seems to be behind the gauge cluster or behind the stereo. About a week ago it got louder and is getting really irritating. The noise is only present when the car is idling or accelerating. When I get up to 60-70 on the freeway then the noise goes away or if I stop accelerating while driving the noise stops. But in park, sitting still in drive, or accelerating the noise is present. I have tried messing with the ac and holding down anything rattling, but it just seems to be coming from down in the dash. If anyone knows of a common problem or has any tips please pass them on. It would be greatly appreciated!

Try this. Pop the hood and follow the cruise and throttle cables from the firewall to the throttle body. Check to see if one of them is resting against the PCV hose which runs from the driver side valve cover into the intake manifold.

I checked it out earlier, but that wasn't it. Thanks for the suggestion though

Good Day! My experience with this is some previous repair(heater core, gauge cluster etc.)left a great many fasteners NOT replaced! Tough job though to go thru it all doesn't seem worth it! Especially noticable when cold!
