Hey guys& gals,
I just had my transmission put back in after being on the ground for nearly 8 months. When my orig trans went out i purchased a used one and had someone put it in for me. Well come to find out he had gotten about 6 wires from the harness stuck in between the bellhousing and trans. 3 wires just skint back, 2wires fused together and 1 completly broken. We got that mistake repaired but now i am getn dtc code for crankshaft and camshaft sensors having no corellation. So im thinking timing at first but my timing has never been off. Blazer idles great but press gas while idling and it sputters.. drive it, it sputters. Went around block with it sputtering away and floored it on the straightaway. Blazer then died and lights on dash flickering. Stopped and gave it a sec and cranked it up and crawled home. Since then replaced crankshaft sensor(no relearn) no change after replacing it, bought cam sensor and have not put it in yet.. blazer still sputtering and won't go into park because someone lost my shift cable clip. Cant find another replacement clip anywhere. Guess i could try pull a part... Any thoughts on spittering and dying? Ready to start driving her again. Will be putn on the antique tag in 2 months , need her up and running... Thanks in advance for any suggestions....
