A Real "doh!" with an ABS light on...
Hey! So anyway my 97 4X4 had the ABS light come on last week,Oh great I thought! But the unit has 167K on it and this stuff is expected... The brakes continued to perform perfect,so I thought nothing of it until I had $ to have it looked at. Well today I went to grease the front end(I always pull the wheels-easier access) And my jaw dropped when I saw the RF sensor wire ripped in half! DOH! Note to self: look at the simple stuff first!
An inspection of the LH sensor showed a similar failure about to occur. Was able to splice the RH wire to function & the ABS light is off. Replacing both soon...so:look at those sensor lines! Best to all!
