My car did this for a while, found out the emergency brake cable was rusted out and wasn't releasing the brakes all the way when you pulled it.

are the pads sliding freely on the caliber....i found that autozone brake pads most times need a little massaging with a file to make them move freely.

i mean the metal portion of the pad where it rests on the rail of the caliber, i have had them be so tight that i needed to file them to fit properly.
if they cant move freely on the rail they will bind up and ruin the pad, rotor, or worse.

and yet i continue to buy them.....damn you autozone points!!!!!!!!!!!

That sounds logical. If it is both sides I would look into that. If just one side maybe you need a brake hose. You can't tell from the outside if they are bad, they collapse on the inside and restrict fluid flow.

the right side is a little worse but both are doing it.and I dont think its the hose cause they worked fine right before i swapped the pads..

Make sure you can slide the pads on and off by hand with ease from the caliper bracket. If they are too tight you'll have that problem. I so, make sure surface rust if off the bracket using a file/sand paper. Dont go crazy or they will be too loose and slam around when braking.

If the wheel is tight like the brakes are held on without the pedal down, crack the bleeder. If they free up you may have a hose problem.
