rear bumper tow capacity
I got the ok from mama to buy a pop up camper. Question is - how fragile is the rear bumper on my 99 blazer? I belong to a club about 20 miles from my house. Would it be safe to just put a ball on the rear bumper to get back and forth on weekends or do I get a hitch. Not sure about the weight of the camper but it is a small one made for two people.

The bumper is made for about 350lbs tounge weight and about 3500lbs tow weight. Check to see what the weight of the camper is and don't forget to add in the weight of whatever else you toss in.
Though, I would highly recommend getting a receiver.
