Talking rear dif issues?

hey guys, so I have some issues lately....Im not good with suspention and things so I am going to take her into my guy this weekend, hes cool cause he will show me how to fix it and let me help SO ANYWAY...I want to have an idea of what to look for before I go...

I first noticed the blazer exellerating very sluggishly, from about 50 mph and up its like it just doesnt want to, I can tell its NOT the engine, everything feels and sounds normal (normal for her LOL)
THEN I noticed the deep low knocking sound....its not over bumps at a 90 deg angle but anything other than that and the truck sways back and forth I hear the knocking...mostly toward the back of the truck...I can tell my allignment is a bit off and the tires wear more on the outside...getting that taken care of this weekend...
Could it be the sway bar bushings? the shocks? the rear dif? something with my leaf springs? ball joints?

Oh I should mention, when the tank is 100% full and heavy the knocking seems louder, and the back end seems tighter...more sluggish, whatever you want to call it, I would imagine its what pulling a heavy trailer would feel like, gas milage seems about the same, coasting is not as good as it used to be...seems sluggish there too.

Any info would be great! thanks guys!

I would venture to guess that it's a rear caliper(disc brake) or wheel cylinder(drum brake) that's sticking.

Could also be a busted sway bar busing - that's a inexpensive fix!

Hope that helps you out!

Springs, bushings, sway bar, could be the drive shaft u-joints

I wouldn't think it's in the diff itself
