The rear diff is suspect in my 97, and i just did the cover and refill, and its grindin something fierce. WOndering,, if the diff is the same in my 92. the covers were identical, and the rear diff in the 92 is perfect. can I just swap out the diff's?????

 

You have to check and see if the ratios are the same. Compare the RPO codes. Also, are both diffs drum brakes? Things may have changed in that respect over that many years that may make it a lot larger hassle.
