Rear End ( differential/Axle) Replacement
Where do you look on the rear end/ axle to determine which one to get from a junk yard? I have been told there is a number on it, but I can't locate it.

Look in the glove box, should be listed in there.

There is a sticker in there that has about 85 numbers
It is called a Service Parts Notification
It has the VIN followed by 107.0 a CS10506
Then a matrix that is 8 rows by 11 columns of three alphanumeric character strings
Followed by
BC/CC U 379E
Is there somewhere that decodes this or tells me which is the rearend?

Look for a G** number. You most likely have GU6-3.42 or GT4- 3.73. G80 is the limited slip.

Bingo
There is a GU6 followed by a G80.
Thanks.
Thanks.
