Rear End Vibration
Did you find your rear axle code?
It should start with a "G" then a letter , then a # or an H, letter, # Like GM1 or GU2 or GU5 etc..
From what you decribed with the truck running in gear on the hoist, that's normal for a non posi diff.
Strange to have a vibration dissapear, unless a big rock got stuck in the tire then flew out later.
