Rear glass gas struts for 2002 s10 blazer
Re: back glass lift arms ....I have tried several times to get some new ones but the top is a rod end instead of the small hole that I have on top now. When I tried to use them they would not collapse enough to close the glass. These are, I assume aftermarket replacements. Does anyone know where I can get these parts that are original equipment without the rod ends. The rod ends have a much bigger hole than the ones I have now. Any help would be appreciated greatly. New here so If this post is in the wrong area Mods please advise me. Thanks for allowing me to join it looks like a great site.

You can usually find part numbers using websites like RockAuto and others. On RockAuto, I think you're looking for these:
https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...t+support,1404
Even if you don't want to order from RockAuto you should be able to use the part number at your preferred vendor to find what you need.

I have looked and looked and can't find the part that looks like what I have now. (going by the pics that they show) The top of the strut either shows a rod end with usually a much larger hole or it shows a snap on fit for the the same as the bottom. Part numbers don't match anything like the arm like I have now and none show a hook up like I have now. I am so frustrated!!! Looks like no one has a direct fit part.
I hate buying and then have to mail it back as I have done twice already. Hard to believe such an easy task could be such a PITA. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks for takin the time.

Is there a local parts store that you could visit with the strut off your truck? They should be able to locate the proper part based off your vehicle's make and model, or even just off the measurements of the struts from your truck. That may be the best option if you are unsure of which part to order from a website.
FYI, often the pictures of parts on websites are generic/stock photos that may or may not be 100% accurate. This can be extremely frustrating and challenging, so I feel your pain. Good luck, and I hope you find the right parts.
