Rear grinding sound

Okay fellas. So long story short. The rear in my 96 s-10 blazer(4door 4x4 4.3) blew up after a shop was supposed to replace pinion seal and over tighten the nut and which caused to rear to bind and blow up. They replaced the ring and pinion gears as those were the only ones in pieces.
Right after I got the blazer back I noticed a humming sound whenever I turn right. Now about 500 miles later the humming is louder and more of grinding sound. The shop said it has nothing to do with their work and pulled the axel shafts and showed me wear marks where the bearings ride. I had them replace the bearings with the axel shaft saver style bearings. Just got the blazer back and about 100ft into my first drive I took a right turn and got the same grinding.
This does no happen when I turn left or drive straight. Only on right turns. Is this indicative of a certain part?

Maybe the carrier itself is now out of spec and able to move around? My first guess was spider gears, but they would make noise in both directions. When the pinion gear blew, how did the shaft look when it was disassembled? If the shaft tweaked, it could have damaged the bore in the housing. There are a fair number of things in the rears that like to make noise. I would take the truck to another, more reputable shop, and have them check the work that was done by the previous shop. It sounds like these guys don't really know what they are doing.

Thanks. Yeah I guess some other part could have been damaged. Ill take it to an actual drivetrain shop and have it looked at. I'm more worried about my personal safety with these issues. Just sounds so bad.
Why is it when you take a car to a shop they pick it apart and have a whole list or things needing fixed, yet when you take your car back to a shop they say it sounds great and nothing wrong with it?
