REAR HATCH RELEASE......PLEASE HELP

I have a 2001 blazer and for some reason when I press the rear hatch release it just unlocks and locks right away. It does it in park with door open or closed any ideas what might cause this????

Mine does that every once in a great while. I thought that it was because I didn't hit the button hard enough.
