Default Rear hatch strut anchor repair

When I bought a Blazer for my girlfriend the back hatch could never stay up by itself. The strut anchor point on the hatch was broken off. I fixed this with the aid of a spot weld drill bit set. After removing the broken plate I went to the salvage yard and removed another good one with the strut anchor ball still attached. Thanks to continued slamming of the drivers door which finally broke the body where the striker is mounted, I got the ok to get a welder. With the new welder I was finally able to complete this repair on the hatch.
