Rear Window

I got a friend with a 96 4dr Blazer. when he puts the gear selector in reverse the rear glass pops opened. any suggestions?

No offense on the situation, but that's pretty funny!

I would also look at the rear hatch wiring in the back, or you might have to trace the wiring from the front all the way to the back. You might have some wiring that the insulation wore off, and when you put the car in reverse it sends the signal to the reverse lights and since they are crossed pops the window. Have your friend sit in the truck and push the latch button and see if the reverse lights go on.
