I'm in the process of replacing my rear wiper motor, took the first panel off of the rear "tailgate" of my blazer and I'm working now to take off the secondary panel to access the motor.
there is clips grasping the arms of the latch mechanism on either side, and im having difficulty removing said clips(Pictured below)
any idea how to remove?

there is two of these, seems like i would twist to remove but the bottom section is fixed solid.

EDIT: I found your supposed to push on the center and they both just popped free
