I've had this happen a couple times now. The last time was a month or two ago with no more issues til now. Tonight I went out to the Blazer to head home. Using the remote to unlock the door worked as usual. When I hit the key everything went dark.The RKE module(under the dash driver's side) was ticking rhythmically. I disconnected the 'Lock' wiring connector and reconnected it. The lights and everything worked fine, it started right up,ran and drove like normal.
Is this common symptoms for a module gone bad or something else. Was disconnecting and reconnecting just a coincidence that it then worked?
Any help would be great. I'd hate to have this happen when my wife has the rig and I'm not there. It's a 95 4door, push button 4X4 S10 Blazer

Well I see you've been around for over a year now, so I'm not sure why you'd be posting in this board.
