ok, sweet. i search too. because i have no idea what that negative input 2nd ignition will go to on the dei remote system. thats what it says, but on the remote sytem manual says its positive. might have to leave it unpluged and see what happens.

 

ok, looked on the internet more and found out that that 2nd negative ign. wire is infact a status output for the module. found another instruction for it and everything is the same but explains more into detail on that one wire. well than, if the module comes in tomorrow or friday, I will wire everything up and let you know how it goes.

 

well the module FINALLY came in today but I forgot it at my Apt. before i headed home for the weekend, but will be going back tomorrow to pick it up so i will see if I can install it before the game sunday (Im a vikings fan but am gonna watch it anyways...even though I think we got robbed.) I have a good feeling about this and think it should all go well. If it does, I will write up a connection guide for thoes that want one.

well good news and bad news. good news is everything IS wired up properly, got the bypass done, and all is going good. Bad news, my valet system has a bad relay and im not getting any power from the 2nd ignition wire. Once I call DEI and see if i can get that, all should be good. Kinda bumbed to see that tho. Everything went good till that point.

 

did you figure the lock/unlocks out? sweet on getting it all in. let me know how it works out.

 

arnt your unlock wires both positive and negative? or just positive? Mine has two wires and they pulse either positive or negative. whichever the vehicle takes.

 

i could only get my drivers door and my hatch to pop. i couldn't get my passenger doors to unlock or anything to lock, thats why i haven't finishted yet still trying to figure out why. i believe they are all suppose to be negative unlock and positve lock. so far still stumped

 

Thats weird. Well, I didnt use the unlock lock yet (only thing i didnt test) but i will work on it this weekend (thursday possibly) and I will inform you. I would be doing it now but thats how it goes when you get a defective item. My luck though.

 

I made a mistake before. White wire in brown connector on BCM, connect + to it for unlock. Lt. blue wire next to it in the same connector, + to it to lock all doors. connecting "-" to the correct lt.green wire in the light blue connector (has gry/blk and white on either side) will unlock drivers door only.
