Hi
My name is Dominik and I'm from Switzerland. I use my 1999 Blazer for daily usage, trailer towing and light offroad usage. A have a 1983 Cehvy Camaro for sunny Sundays.
I'm following this forum for some months, but this is my first post.
Because the drivers power window isn't working sometimes, I bought a new motor and switch from Rockauto. When I wanted to diagnose, it was always working... So I think its the best to replace the two things.
I found this video on Youtube: YouTube - ‪Power Window Motor Install‬‏
But I'm not sure if its really that easy:
- Isn't the motor hold in place by rivets?
- Don't I have to lock the regulator? (It contains a spring which is under load...)
Hope one of you guys have already successfully replaced this motor and can give me some hints.
Regards
Dominik
