Default Replaced MF switch, now horn constant

so i was replacing my dads MF switch, when i went to cut the zip tie that holds all the wires together, i accidently cut the airbag wires. that was my first problem but an easly fix. (mind you i have the battery disconnected through all of this) i got everything in and went to go test it to make sure the wipers work and everything before i buttoned everything up. as soon as i reconnected the negative terminal the horn started going off constantly. i also noticed all the interior lights were staying on also. so for now i just pulled fuse #2 and all is wll. but i would reallly like to get this figured out for my dad. im a volkswagen guy and this american crap is new to me. i was able to make it that the horn wuld no go off but i tapped some wires and it started gong off again. i just cant figured out what wires could be messed up in that mess of wires. any input would be great. thanks
