Default reuse the axle nut?

Hello I need to replace the front wheel bearing hub assy on my 2000 4x4 Blazer. My question is; can I reuse the the axle nut? Or, do I need to replace that also? I'm having a hard time getting it loose. Also should I put antiseize on the splines? Thank you for any input.

Yes you can reuse the nut. That is unless you damage it and then you should replace it.

As far as the use of antiseize goes, it is a mixed bag of answers. With any lubricant, you will be able to more accurately torque the fastener. But lubricant also can aid in the joint coming loose. Personally, I would not use it.
