Default RKE Module Installation - '01 4DR4x4

I purchased this vehicle used and it may or may not have had factory RKE installed(long story, can't rely onRPO codes...) and I'm trying to get RKE capability by installing this:
http://www.commandoalarms.com/CS30manual.pdf
Questions:
a.) What are the wiring and plugs like for a factory RKE module? Is it similar to the unit above? A 5-10 main pin/plug with a 2-3 pin/plug for the door switches?(I'm assuming factory rke would not have LED & VALET SWITCH plugs)

b.) In a factory set-up, are there two positive switches for the door locks like this:
http://www.commandocaralarms.com/powerlockpos.asp?

c.) I pugged in the unit, it seemed to program and click internally when triggered it but it did not trigger the locks. It also made the "bing-bing" alarm of the keys in the ignition for 30 seconds even though the keys were not in the ignition(??). I had the following wires to plug into the unit:
RED, WHITE, BLACK, GREY = Main 10-pin plug
BLUE, GREEN = 3-pin door plug. I did have a third RED wire coming from the door switches but the module above doesn't call for 3 plugs into the door switch module and the plug wasn't wired for three wires.
Do the door switches have to have a GREEN, BLUE and RED wire plugged into the RKE module to work? Could that be causing the problem?
d.) If you have to do a complete fresh install of an RKE system, would you have to pull apart the wiring harness under the kick panel or would the wires you need be easily available?

Any help would be appreciated. I normally wouldn't care for RKE or not but I have an infant son and it would be safer when I'm juggling him around to get into the car if I didn't have to actually use a key. Thanks!

Default RE: RKE Module Installation - '01 4DR4x4

One question: Does anyone have a picture of a factory RKE module? I know it's a 4-pin module and it's located under the driver's side hush panel, but in factory set-upis the plug it's plugged into on the left side of the footwell(by the Ignition harness) or on the right side(by the BCM module)? Thanks!
