rollover vent valve

I'm not entirely sure what you're referring to. Here's what I can remember from my recent work on the fuel and emissions systems of my Jimmy:
The filler neck goes from the gas cap down to the tank. There's a check ball in the end of the neck just before the tank. That ball is supposed to prevent fuel leakage in the event of a rollover. It's also an impediment to those who would siphon gasoline from the tank.
There's a vent line that goes from the tank up to the filler neck just before the gas cap. That's about a 3/4" rubber hose. There are small (+/- 1/4") rubber lines coming from fittings on the top of the gas tank. Those go to the charcoal canister in the left rear fender behind the wheel. There's a similar small line that goes from that canister to the purge valve on the engine. Also on the charcoal canister is about a 3/4" rubber hose that goes to the canister vent solenoid mounted above the spare tire on the frame.
Hopefully some of that will be helpful to you.
