Default Rotor & cap question

If u just replace the cap, rotor and wires, is there a special procedure required afterwards i.e. cam re-learn etc?

Thanx!

Camshaft retard needs to be checked/adjusted if the distributor hold down bolt is loosened.

Crankshaft position sensor relearn is only necessary if you move, remove, replace or disturb the sensor, or the timing cover, (or replace the PCM).

Both require a higher end scan tool. Code readers, and most hand helds, are not capable of accessing the necessary data streams.
