Default Rubber window trim comes loose?

Hey there, on my 98' Blazer LS, the black rubber window piece on the bottom outside of the window (with the felt to meet the glass) has always come loose when rolling the window up or just after a while of driving. i've noticed this with the majority of blazers around town, so it must be a pretty common problem. Do any of you know of a way to remedy this nuisance?

Default RE: Rubber window trim comes loose?

Im thinking of a solution for my 02. My first thought was weatherstrip adhesive, but it can be a pain in the *** to remove.

I was able to adjust the sheet metal holes a bit more to make them engage the tangs on the weatherstripping better. They didn't move again... Either that or the adhesive route will get it done. both have pros and cons.
