Default "sARDINE CAN" BEHIND PASSENGER KICK PANEL???

Found a flat metal can (line a sardine tin) behind the passenger side interior kick panel (by the front passenger door hinges). Meant to take a picture but I put the plastic panel back.

Can anyone tell me what it is?

You didn't "find" anything...that is the body control module GM placed there when the unit was built...

Yep, pretty much did find it.

1find

That's the TCCM, (Transfer Case Control Module). 1998 and newer BCM, (Body Control Module) is just to the left of the ash tray, under the dash.
