Default Seat adjustment handles...

Hi there..sorry for all the new threads..i'm having limited success with searching the forums. I just bought a 99 zr2 and after playing with the power seat and not being able to move the seat back ...back at all i've noticed there are a couple of small holes in the fabric on both seats and what appears to be a mechanism to adjust the seat backs.

After reading online reviews i've learned it's quite common in these trucks for those handles to snap off... so my question is...is it an easy fix by getting new handles or am I better welding some new ones in place?

Thanks!
