Default Security codes and engine swaps

If I understand correctly -

The Power control module, the body control module, the reciever box and the remote fobs are all coded to work together.

Resistors on the ignition key switch wiring too.

Can anyone point me in the right dirrection to get round all this if it's possible?

Can the Power Control Module be de-coded to run without the input from the Body Control Module?

Thinking seriously about buying a Tech 2 reader / programmer - will this help?
Have two S10 trucks and a Blazer as well as an LS1 project on the go so could do with some serious help.

Have organised the LS1 wiring from "f bodies inc" on ebay - there is also a "vats defeater" anyone have any advice on this?
