ok i have a 1999 chevy s-10 blazer i bought it used within the end of the 1st year since i had it the security light comes on while im driving and then later on sometimes after the 2nd day and then all of a sudden my truck wont start and while im trying to crank it up the security light is flashing and that was in 2008 ive now since paid it off in 2009 and its now 2010 and all of a sudden that security light came on again twice in 1 week and truck shut down soon after, its really making me mad my mechanic puts his shop computer on it and cant find the problem why is it doing that and i been going to the main chevy dealer and they tell me that my year model of suv according to the VIN # i gave them it never came with passive anti-theft system or a clicker for keyless entry, and the keys i got with it from the used car dealer are copies from the original which is the only sets they have gotten from car dealer auction in dothan, alabama....i want to know why or how do i find out why the security light comes on and then later on shuts down my truck?? its a pain in my butt when im a pizza delivery driver and it does that while im on delivery or after i get off work and goto a grocery store and have milk and icecream....can any1 help me out and either point me in the right direction so i can tell my mechnaic what he might need to do??? or find out where we might need to go to get some answer in my town about it, im in panama city, florida
