Service 4WD?
My "Service 4WD" is lit. I have the on-dash, push button style 4X4 setup. It's been on for a whileand I haven't realy bothered with it because I don't take the truck anywhere that I need it - not because I don't want to, I have just no time to play in the mud.
When it went away, it did so slowly.
Any ideas?

Get it to a dealer and get the problem diagnosed, or pull the codes yourself. Info on how to pull codes can be found online by searching.
NOT addressing this can lead to a major system failure and expensive repairs. It is never a good idea to ignore a warning light. I ignored a warning light on a 97 Blazer because I thought the code (referencing a switch in the tranny) pointed to a trivial problem - the result was a completely burned up transmission and $2200 in repairs.
