Default Service Engine oon light keeps going on/off

I've had my blazer checked, maintenance done, etc., and that damn light goes on and off - is there perhaps a glitch in the computer system that causes this. I only have 62,000 on the vehicle and it is new tires, new distributor, new ball joints, new rotors, has been tuned-up, etc., three months after all this the light comes back on.

Is there anyway to make it go away

Have to get it scanned or buy a scanner to find out the problem. It will give the code/codes of the troubled condition.
