I was driving my 97 Jimmy, stopped in a parking lot, put it in park, and now it wont come out of park. I reasearched that the problem is caused by the shifter itself. That I can bypass the solonoid under the shifter(floor shifter) to enable me to shift it, but to repair it, the shifter will have to be replaced.
If this is correct, and you all agree that it is this problem, How much would I look at paying for a shifter?
