Red face Service engine soon...

My service engine light came on after 20 min of driving to work this morning... I went to check the code and they told me I have no power to the connector under the steering wheel. I changed the gas cap but the light stays... Do I need to try to reset it? I dont know anything about this area...What is my next couple of steps? Thanks!

IIRC, the OBDII connector and the cigarette lighter use the same fuse. Check to make sure it's not burned out.
