Service engine soon light.

Service engine soon light.
Ok so two weeks ago i installed my aem brute force cold air intake and today when i was driving my service engine soon light comes on. So im thinking that maybe i might have messed up one of the sensors but i also hit 100k two weeks ago so it might be time to put it in the shop. I just wanted to know if anyone else has had problems after installing their CAI and also if after 100k the computer automatically shoots off this code so you have to take it in (i know some cars do that). The book said that it might be that i was low on gass and got air in the fuel line. I was low on gas so that might be it. im gonna drive it a bit tonight and see if it shuts off but if not i am very open for help and sugestions. I really don't think it is the intake but its a steady light (the book says that means it is emissions trouble). thanks in advance.

take it to zone an have them pull the codes. they can tell you what it is.

RE: Service engine soon light.
ok so that night of the post i drove it for a bit and the light went off. and it stayed off untill today, Last time i moved a sensor that was in a weird position due to my cai install so i thought maybe it was akward again. It was fine but then i noticed something different. A hose going to that round ball thing attached to the hood(sounds like a girl describing it doesn't it) is broken. It apears to have had too much wear and heat and is now deteriating. I put in an order for a new one (50 ft spool of it, i got plenty to use) so hopefully that will fix my problem. and just in case i am going to use as much of the new hose to replace what else looks bad. hopefully this will fix it. It is held together with duct tape for now.
