Default SES Light only on in accessory position

1999 Blazer 4x4

What's up y'all back at it again with more problems on ol "reliable" so issue im having right now is I have an SES light but only when the key is in the accessory position and it's not throwing any codes but the print out from AutoZone says non emissions compliant or not emissions ready, something like that...just wondering what the issue may be or if anyone else has had a similar issue.. from what I can tell I have all my vacuum issues fixed.. has the slightest rough idle and maybe a very minor exhaust leak but nothing I can track down at home because if it is leaking it's almost non existent.. thanks in advance! Hope everyone's having a good night

Since the engine is not running while in the accessory mode, the check engine light will be illuminated. It is normal, but I can see where it could send give someone the wrong impression.

Thing is after all the other dash lights go out as normal it stays illuminated.. that's what's got me confused as well as the code reader coming back and saying non emissions compliant

'Emissions not ready' is what will be stated when all of the drive cycle monitors have not completed their tests successfully. This will happen when the codes get reset. The system needs to go through all of the monitor tests to make sure that everything checks out. You can look up "GM Drive Cycle" to see what you can do to get all of the emissions monitors to run their test and hopefully pass to show complete. If you have an evap leak, then that monitor will likely fail.

As far as the light being on, as I have said already, that is completely normal. The engine is not running so the light is illuminated. Nothing to see here, move along.
