hey i have a 2000 blazer, and well i was wandering if there is a way for me to move my shifter to the floor. i was going to buy a hurst shifter for the automatic, but am curious as to what i will have to do. and also me and my father-in-law put a 305 in his 95 blazer and we are wondering will we have to do anything to the tranny to get it to work i know that the overdrive is electric and well like i was saying we are just wondering. any advice would be much appreciated.

The column shifter actuates a cable to shift the transmission. Any aftermarket cable shifter will work provided have the tools to do the installation. Installations vary by chosen shifter.
