Shocks for Xtreme

Default Shocks for Xtreme

Does anyone know if the Xtreme uses the same shocks as the non-Xtreme RWD blazer? The Xtremes sit lower and have a supposedly softer ride and I saw on one place where that are 2-3" shorter. But then I saw on another where the same shocks fit both versions. So, that's my question!

Answer, I think they do take the same. For example Monroe matic plus 32300 front and 32186 rear. Correct me if I'm wrong, pls.

I read where the Xtreme has a 2" drop but don't know if that is due to the spring or the spindle. Either way though,it seems like it should take a different length shock, but I have not come up with anything to prove it.

Try going to Rockauto parts and using their on line catalog to plug in your year and model and see if it comes up with the same part no. as a non - Xtreme 2WD blazer. That should answer your question. Try using other auto parts company's with an on line cat.
