Shuddering Problem

Default Shuddering Problem

i just got me a 98 blazer and im having problem with it studering. when i put it in gear give it a lil gas and it studers but if i gas it no studer. the guy i got it from said it was the cat. so i took it to autozone and codes on misfire, vacum leak, and cat misfunction pop up. any ideas?

I would go with replace the intake gaskets, I wouldn't rule out the Cat, and I would do a good tune up cap, rotor, coil, plugs, and wires. check under the air box tube for a worn out PVC valve line. and replace what vacuum lines that aren't hard plastic. if you still have a misfire I would look at the ignition module on the side of the coil the pickup under the cap and last but not least the crank pickup under the engine by the harmonic balancer

BTW this isnt the spot for this type of question. Check the form over the answer would have been there and I'm no better in responding.

like said earlier cap and rotor could be a possible issue if you are getting water inside it will cause a misfire.
