Default signal lights, lower brake light issue

My son is bringing his 1996 blazer home from university tonight. I am going to try to repair it tommorrow. He told me last week his signal lights stopped working. I assumed it was the flasher that had failed and planned on testing and repairing it tommorrow. Now today he told me that his lower brake lights aren't working either but the upper one does. I only have tommorrow to work on it as I am leaving to go out of town for 2 weeks so any help tonight would be appreciated. I could really use a wiring diagram if anyone can post it or pm me etc. If someone knows what switches etc I should look first please let me know.

I plan to test all the bulbs in the taillights, check the fuses and the flasher.

The other thing he said was when he tries the turn signals it doesn't light up at the dash.

Thanks in advance

WC

Multifunction switch. You may be able to get just the hazard switch, but you may need a whole new multifunction switch. If you run a search for "multifunction" you should turn up plenty of threads about this issue.

Easy fix, the flasher for the hazard lights is no good and the hazard lights were turned on so it disabled the signal and lower brake lights. Thanks Swartlkk
