stock 5w30...is what i think it is.

go up one grade like 10w40. sometimes a thicker viscosity helps
also
there are many that swear by lucas oil stabilizer

hey i just had the same issue as well as my buddy... nasty ticking on both blazers. i did a flush with 5w30 and conditioner from the flush... tick went away but sometimes returns... he did a oil change with no flush.. he used mobile 1 10w30 and lucas... his tick is gone completely.... needless to say im changing it up..
