smell of coolent

getting a smell of coolant from my heater vents what could it be

Check the passenger side carpet for wetness. If it is wet/damp then you could have a core leak and need to replace it...if not then you have a leak in either the intake manifold gaskets or a radiator/heater hose...

Most common is intake manifold gasket without damp carpets...
