If it drops below 50psi in less than 10 minutes, there's a leak. Could be any number of things: check valve in the fuel pump, fuel pressure line leaking inside the tank, external leak in the fuel pressure line, inside the plenum there could be a leak in the pressure line to the injector, fuel injector stuck open, and the fuel pressure regulator either internal or external. The return line from the regulator to the tank could also be leaking, but that will not cause fuel pressure to leakdown.

i double checked. its staying around 60 after the truck is turned off. it maintains pressure until i release it

did you wait 10 mins before releasing it?

lol yes i did wait the 10 minutes. just to ensure it maintained the pressure. i guess that was bad. i really only know basic things with vehicles.

pressure when running varies when i press the accelerator and let off. it varies from 55-60 psi
