i have a strange sound coming from under the dash, around the steering column i think, when i am on the highway i can hear something wobbling around under the dash and when i hit bad bumps I can hear it shake real bad, what is under the dash that can wobble around? it sounds like something big and solid..... garage cant find anything wrong..

 

did the garage you took it to hear it themselves? sounds are hard to diagnose without actually hearing them. what seems like a noise coming from the dash, could actually be coming from the frontend sometimes.

 

Does your blazer have something (or did it have something) installed in it like an aftermarket remote start or alarm? Did the garage you took it to take the bottom of the dash loose and look in it? My husband works in car audio and he is amazed at what he finds stuffed in dashes. In my own blazer, we found an aftermarket remote start and a cell hands free kit while he was trying to install my remote start. Maybe something like this it the source of your rattle. Maybe not, but that would be an easy fix.[sm=icon_rock.gif]

of coarse, they found nothing!! i guess i'll live with it.
