Will the CAI fit with a throttle body spacer installed? Will it bolt up properly or will it not fit?

It should, the TBS is only like 1 in max so there should be plenty of clearance. Maybe some one with a spectre CAI will join in and tell us how much clearance they have w/o the TBS

I'm sorry, I meant: Will it fasten to the throttle body properly with the throttle body spacer installed with the factory hardware replaced with the stuff that came with the TBS?

Do you still currently have the stock intake plastic thing bolted down to the TB with that big plastic coated wingnut? As long as that is still connected fine I think it will be fine

^ X2 if the stock plastic thing (it has a real name just cant think of it) is on you should have no problems getting the Spectre to work

I'll check and get some pics when I go out to the truck to go to McDonald's later.

Spectre 9901 on order from Autozone. They say Wednesday, but the receipt says Tuesday Afternoon. Let's hope the receipt is right. I'll try to post pics along the way installing it when I get the intake and the tools needed to put it in. I just hope I can go along without drilling holes. Maybe I can improvise or use self-tapping screws with an electric screwdriver so I don't have to drill....

Oh and the stock plastic wing nut thing: Yes it is still there. Everything but the throttle body spacer and hardware is stock when it comes to the engine. Nothing was tossed (as far as I know) when they put it in.

I know this tread is dead, but just for everyones information: A cold air intake that replaces the plastic plenum WILL NOT WORK WITH A THROTTLE BODY SPACER. The intake tube won't bolt down properly and the plenum would not bolt down to the throttle body properly. I ripped out the throttle body spacer and installed the intake with the throttle body spacer hardware still on the engine. Little sloppy, but it works with no air leaks.
