Spongy shift lever. My 98 Blazer shift lever got really soft today. One second it felt fine and the next it had all sorts of free play. Its a 5 spd manual. It still shifts into all gears but it feels like its going to fall off and doesnt positively feel like its in gear. The shift lever retaining nut is tight. Please help.
