hello i have a 2001 blazer lt 4 door , i picked up a carter P74834M fuel pump , and now the blazer will stall out when coming to a stop when i reach around a 1/4 tank of fuel , it wont stall if i keep it above 1/4 tank , did i get the wrong pump , a bad pump ? , come to think of it i dont remember having to push down on the pump to seat it like i did with my 2 door , almost like the pump isn't long enough?

does anyone have a side by side pic of a 2 door vs 4 door pump to verify the lengths are the same , very starnge that a new pump stalls out under hard braking but fires right up , but this never happens when i am over a 1/3 tank
