Default Stalling issues

Hi i have a 97 blazer 4dr 4wd 4.3 w enging, have replaced tps sensor and map sensor. symptom, truck starts runs for a second or two and then dies, starts again idle goes high to like 2000rmp or so and then drops and keeps running. THIS happens when truck is COLD. This truck actually died like 4 times the other day while driving, start die, start die. etc, replaced the tps sensor 10-11-09. And also the gauge doesn't read correct, actually we fill it up at half of a tank for the most part, this time we went a little further, and the gauge was like at almost e, went to hess, and thats when the problem started.
Any help would be great!!! we love the truck its only got 44k on it as well...

Replace the fuel filter and throw 2 bottles of dry gas in it. If you're lucky you got a bad load of gas. After that find a buddy or a garage with a fuel pressure gauge and have it checked. (possible the pump is going bad)
