Default Starter compatatbiity
hello wondering if a starter from an 01 or 05 blazer will work on a 96 , part numbers changed but shouldn’t they be the same

I look to see if they are the same part at both a GM parts site and at places like Rock Auto. If they list the same starter for both, then you are likely ok.
