Ok, I have been through the post here but have not seen something related to the problem I have. I changed the starter on my 95 and I went to start it after. It was cranking but not turning over. After like two or three attempts to start it, I notice a cloud of smoke and a burn smell coming from the driver side front quarter panel. But when I looked to see if I can see any burned wiring, I saw nothing. Can anyone help me with this or has anyone experienced this? Now when I try to start it, nothing happens. No noise what so ever.

The fusable links are over there. You may have shorted the trigger wire somehow. Maybe insulation is warn. It's the small wire you put on, I know its tight over there so I extended mine to make it a little easier to work with at the starter. The links look like wires with with thick shrink tube on them.
