starting issues
hi I have a 2000 jimmy with about 166,000 on the clock. I replaced th fuel pump last year and I think it needs a cap and rotor but this little problem just started. I had it happen before but cant rember how I fixed it. I went to start it two nights ago to run to the store. it would fire up then die. I tried around 10 times it just wouldn't stay running. so the next day iwent out and it fired up with no trouble. so I drove it around a little then came home changed the oil and parked her. well this morning I went to move it to get my jeep out and it was the same problem would not stay running. I waited around 30 min and it fired just like nothing was wrong. could a junk cap and rotor cause this or do I have bigger issues. thank you very much also its not showing anylights or codes and once it fires it runs great. thanks
