Starting problems - 96 Blazer
I have a 1996 Blazer. We have been having starting problems for the last several months. Originally it would just hard start especially if it was cold. Then it moved on to it wouldn't start unless you used starter fluid. Now it will start with starter fluid but the moment you step on the gas it dies.
We have replaced the spider injector system, TPS, IAC, Fuel Filter, Trottle body assembly, catalytic converter and cleaned the MAF. Don't know what else to try. We did find a vacuum tube coming off the fuel pressure regulator nipple that is not connected to anything. Don't know where it should be connected to. Other than that - I am out of ideas.
Love my Blazer but this is getting very fustrating. Any help would be appreciated.
